Levitra - Things to Remember

Levitra is a wonderful drug for all those who suffer from erectile disfunction and are unable to enjoy a normal sex life. It helps men overcome the problem with ease. However as with other ED drugs, there might be problems if certain precautions are not taken. We are here to help you avoid such a situation.

You should never opt to take Levitra if you are also using a nitrate drug. This can be for chest pain or any other heart problem. This various forms of nitrate include nitroglycerin (Nitrostat, Nitrolingual, Nitro-Dur, Nitro-Bid, and others), isosorbide dinitrate (Dilatrate-SR, Isordil, Sorbitrate), and isosorbide mononitrate (Imdur, ISMO, Monoket). This is because taking Levitra with a nitrate medicine can cause a serious decrease in blood pressure, which might lead to fainting, stroke, or heart attack.

Some patients are also seen complaining of a sudden loss of eyesight after taking Levitra. This type of vision loss is caused by decreased blood flow to the optic nerve of the eye. It is not sure whether the reason behind such vision loss is Levitra or something else but there is a high probability that Levitra might be the culprit. It has also been observed that sudden vision loss with Levitra use has occurred most often in people with heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or certain pre-existing eye problems. So be careful while you take a decision.

Looking at these problems, it is always advisable that before taking Levitra, you must tell your doctor if you have:

• Any kind of heart disease or heart rhythm problems.
• A recent history of a heart attack or angina pain.
• High or low blood pressure
• Liver disease
• Kidney disease
• A blood cell disorder such as sickle cell anemia
• A bleeding disorder such as hemophilia
• A physical deformity of the penis

These are just a few precautions to be considered before taking Levitra. However, don’t hesitate and enjoy unbelievable pleasure by taking this drug. It is easily available online. So go and buy now!
