High blood pressure is very common worldwide and it poses a risk of kidney disease and cardiovascular disease. Millions of people are affected by high blood pressure and it may be the reason behind the growing rate of cardiovascular disease worldwide. Compared to last century, cardiovascular disease is becoming the major contributor of deaths; where as in last century the death toll by cardiovascular disease was fewer. According to an international survey cardiovascular disease will be responsible for about 30% death toll in the near future.

What is cardiovascular disease?

Cardiovascular disease is related to the dysfunction of heart and blood vessels, technically related to any disease which affects the cardiovascular system. The other diseases which are considered cardiovascular disease include Arteriosclerosis, Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Valve Disease, Arrhythmia, Heart Failure, Hypertension and etc.

Millions of men are suffering from cardiovascular disease and if you are suffering from erectile dysfunction, you may face disease like diabetes, low HDL, high blood pressure and smoking. The results indicate that if you are an erectile dysfunction patient and have no other symptoms then you may be at risk of having cardiovascular disease. The complete diagnostic evaluation of impotence may reflect the cardiovascular disease.

FDA approved three medicines for the erectile dysfunction: Viagra, Levitra and Cialis, are good for healthy heart. But, if you are suffering from cardiovascular disease, special precautions are mandatory for safeguarding your life. Most of the ED pills affect the arteries; every artery generates nitric oxide which can react to any ED pills (Viagra, Levitra and Cialis) and can cause dropping in blood pressure.

The Food and Drug Administration issued a caution to the ED patient about the cardiovascular disease and ED pills. A patient suffering from heart attacks, strokes, serious disturbances of heart's pumping or low blood pressure for the last six months shouldn't take Viagra, Levitra or Cialis. 20 millions men in America are affected by impotence and they are taking ED pills regularly. Most of the doctors prescribe the middle dose and increase or decrease the dose according to the patients needs. If a man doesn't respond to an ED pills (Viagra, Cialis or Levitra) he should try other treatment for curing the problem.
